Welcome to Jaithra Foundation Deaddiction cum Rehabilitation Centre, Trichy. “We're on a mission to end the Stigma around Addiction”. Managing Director Dr.D.MANIKANDAN, The Managing Director of Jaithra Foundation Deaddiction cum Rehabilitation Centre is deeply involved in helping the addicts to recover from alcoholism and drug abuse. He has started his crusade against alcohol & drug abuse 15 years ago and the Jaithra Foundation is now in frontline in quality treatment and recovery programmes. Addiction to alcohol and drugs not only affects the individuals involved but also disrupts the family and society. Dr.Manikandan understood these concerns very well and has therefore, been a torch bearer of Jaithra Foundation deaddiction cum Rehabilitation Centre. Presently the treatment centre has 25 beds with a full-fledged team of Medical Officers, Counsellors, Psychologists, Yoga therapist, Social Workers, Nurses and supporting staff. In his de-addiction and rehabilitation centre, he personally ensures that each and every patient is provided with requisite counselling and treatment. Most of the patients who come out of his centre transform into productive citizens enhancing the value of the society. He has also been instrumental in employing a Psycho-Social-Medical solution via a holistic approach. Dr.Manikandan has bagged many awards and honors for his committed social works from various organizations.
